I have re-inserted an image from my home of light on surface by placing this in an area where light was hitting the wall. I am interested in the interrelationship of past moment in site sitting within a present moment of site.
Image as Object
For this exploration I was interested in the way image could become an object that could be re-arranged within the home to start to produce new meanings. In a way this exploration starts to cite moments within home and juxtapose these within new moments. The placement of these objects is specific to where they could be located or where there may be a similarity in context.
The mirror is positioned within the mirror to reference past and present moment. Image becomes an object that re-produces a moment.
A photograph of bed sheets sits juxtaposed against another soft surface with markings. The photo almost starts to blend within.
Thinking about image in relation to where this object would be placed. How does placement affect the context of narrative?
Moments of present light juxtaposed with past image captured light.
A juxtaposition of a different interior (Walsh Street House Image) placed within my own domestic interior. What is the narrative that can be formed by taking elements of another site and placing this within my own?
