Familiar Things in Unfamiliar places
These explorations start to situate architecture of residence and household objects in an unfamiliar setting. The arrangement gives clue to a relationship of objects that can be found within the domestic however by extracting them to an exterior they are familiar to us yet sitting within an unfamiliar context. The scale of the stairs and door printed are smaller, changing our reading of these images. There is a nostalgia associated with the objects as we experience and use most of them in our domestic setting everyday yet this arrangement affects our reading.
Through taking images of intimate moments of the interior as well as objects from the interior and arranging them in different ways this can start to cite the domestic interior.
Can we experience moments of home through assemblage?
Aiming to evoke moments of comfort through image abstraction, material and object to construct a narrative.
Temporal moment of wind affecting these images by causing them to sway. How does wind activate these images through movement? Does this enhance or add another layer to feeling and narrative?
