Disrupting Function

This is done through a process of pulling apart and re-arranging. Re-arranging offering up a new reading or understanding. It decontextualised the object through the process of re-arrangement and thus creates a new 'event' 'site' and 'situation' that is occurring.

To understand 'comfort' as a support structure I looked at an everyday object 'the chair' to use a site to investigate actively though disrupting its function.

By shifting functionality of the chair through cutting the chair into sections, it starts to disrupt how we read it from a household object to a "event" or happening thing.
