These arrangements are created with found materials from the home utilising balance as a way of assembling objects together. Support in the case of these arrangements is based on internal and external factors, a major one being balance. I have become interested in the space between something being stable and then becoming unstable. I have

recorded myself arranging, re-arranging and bearing the weight of these objects until I find a point of balance. I then push these iterations by starting to add other objects until they too find balance, however at times these objects will fall. These drops are so quick and it shows the temporality of the arrangements.

Adding materiality like glass aims to heighten fragility as it poses a risk; if unbalanced it will drop and smash.
